Call
& Post is
a newspaper with multiple editions owned by
King Media Enterprises, Inc.
Four unique editions of the Call
& Post – featuring local news in
Cincinnati, Columbus and Cleveland with CP2
(Call & Post 2nd Edition) which
is a Entertainment Lifestyle Tabloid
distributed in Northeast Ohio all are
published each week.
Founded
by Garrett Morgan and a group of pioneering
Black businessmen, the newspaper has published
every week since 1916 and in 1929 merged with
the Cleveland Post.
It is the only African-American owned,
general circulation newspaper in Cleveland
that conforms to the Ohio Revised Code’s
definition of a newspaper of general
circulation.
The
Call
& Post has
a distinctive and loyal paid readership earned
through years of hard work, fighting the
battle for justice and equality that
individuals could neither fight nor win
fighting alone.
The Call
& Post became a trusted friend while
reporting the triumphs and tragedies of
generations of Black people in Ohio and the
nation. It
offers a unique perspective – respected by
people of all races – serving as a catalyst
for change in Ohio

largest circulated of our weekly editions.
